About the role:

Are you ready to form the future of infection control techniques?

your Participant researcher in antimicrobials and vital simulation flawsYou will join a vibrant and multidisciplinary team that develops the next generation and artificial biological platforms to treat antimicrobial resistance. You will contribute to the leading research in the interface of materials science, biology and medicine, and enhance innovative solutions to heal wounds and control infection.

What will you do?:

In this role, you will take the initiative in the design, Development and testing advanced antimicrobial substances within vital simulation systems. It will work closely with collaborators through disciplines, and gain experience in advanced methods in the interface of chemistry, biology and medicine. Your work will directly contribute to creating innovative solutions to control infection and healing wounds, while developing your own experience in artificial biology and soft materials.

This position is part of the Nanoheal project, a large international network that combines leading research groups throughout Europe, Australia and New Zealand. As a major member of this cooperative union, you will benefit from close interaction with international partners, joint training opportunities, and an exceptional environment to enhance both research and job development.

What are we looking for:

  • Doctorate degree (or near completion) in chemistry, material science, biomedic physics, artificial biology from bottom to top, or related field
  • Experience with vital materials, nanoparticles, or vital spaces, and interest in applying them to biomedical challenges
  • A practical experience in a wide range of technologies including for example: soft material, biomedic, microscopy, analytical techniques
  • Strong skills to solve problems with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take the initiative in research activities
  • Excellent communication and mental communication skills to work effectively in an international multidisciplinary team
  • The motivation to contribute to an ambitious project that addresses antimicrobial resistance while developing your search profile.
