About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Development Immunology Research Group for Professor George Holind in the Department of Pediatrics as a doctoral researcher.
You will play an important role in contributing to understanding ways to renew the youth of the thymus gland and thus the adaptive immune system in health and disease.
You will be responsible for classifying and implementing joint research programs related to the various aspects of thymus biology that use useful experimental models and a wide range of analytical platforms, including the mid -cell analysis and the measurement of advanced flow.
It will work in an increased department in the Department of Medical Sciences. The Ministry of Pediatrics is a global leading company in child health research and hosts world -famous research programs in the development of medicines, digestive diseases, blood science, HIV, immunity, nervous imaging, muscle neurological diseases and vaccines. The Development Immunology Research group under the leadership of Professor George Holind is conducting research on molecular and cellular control of the development and function of the thyroid gland.
This full -time position is presented on a fixed contract at first for a period of two years with the possibility of extending more available funding. Part -time applications (with at least 80 % FTE) can be seen.

About you
You will keep, or are about to finish a doctorate/DVHil in a related scientific field (for example, immunology, biology, biochemistry, medical laboratory science), adequate knowledge and relevant experience in retail molecular work, partial cells, partial cells, partial cells, biological cells, partial cells, biological cells, and biological cells, and biological cells, Biological cells, cellular cells, analysis. You will have very effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of employee and the ability to work effectively in an arduous and operating research environment.
