We are looking for a vital world to study cellular responses for injury and aging using integrated techniques for one cell, spatial and protein. The post will be placed at the Inflammation Research Center, Institute for Renewal and Reform, Edinburgh University with Professor David Venbach.

This publication is announced full -time (35 hours per week); However, we are open to looking at part -time work patterns. We are also open to considering hybrid work requests (on a non -contracting basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular work on campus.

Opportunity:

This fellowship is part of MRC, based at the Institute of Renewal and Reform-Anti-More than 1,000 research employees and students. Its focus is on defining new paths linking the aging epithelium with tissue fibrosis in chronic human kidney disease. The mail holder will lead the definition and calculation of these paths using the spatial proportional analysis of human kidneys, and the resolution of one cell for the residents of the kidney cells obtained Former Vivo / FitRoo. Your skills and characteristics for success:

  • Efficiency in NGS and (RNA-SEQ, ATAC-CEQ, Chip -seq, one cell)
  • Understanding, experience and results published by the analysis and interpretation of large data collections using at least one statistical package (for example R/Splus, SAS) and efficiency with text programming languages ​​(R/Python) and Linux/Bash
  • Experience in analyzing highly productive biological data groups.
