FTE: A minute of 0.5 FTE (operating 18.5 hours per week) to 1.0fte (37 hours per week) Part -time options welcome

salary: UH8 £ 46,049 PA Pro Rata to 58225 pounds PA Pro Rata with an annual increase

annual leave: 35 days in addition to standard public holidays and an additional 4 days, including closing our office between Christmas and New Year

Main duties

You will participate in teaching, evaluation and managing stereotypes on the programs offered by the diagnostic radiography team and will have the opportunity to contribute to the research. You will participate, as required, in the development and reviews of program, including professional developments throughout the school. You will contribute to the admission team in the interview in university training programs, vocational training and pre -registration for diagnostic radiology, including attendance on some open weekend days.

You will contribute to continuous evaluation and review of school activities. You will contribute to radiography and diagnostic photography research and contribute to school management through additional roles, such as being a leadership unit and joining or leading teams participating in activities such as admission, schedule or program support.

The required skills and experience

It will be a HCPC diagnostic radio designer with academic and modern/or clinical experience in the UK and will be a wide experience of relevant diagnostic radiography. You will have constant interest and knowledge of contemporary diagnostic radiography. In addition, you must have oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to work without close supervision and actively work as part of the team. For this role, you will need to be adaptive to change/to be flexible to the requirements of the employers and the burden of work and be ready to contribute to teaching and learning activities between professionals.

Required qualifications

For this role, you should learn to a degree or qualification equivalent in diagnostic radiography or relevant discipline, as well as a master’s degree or near the completion of a master’s degree (or qualified level 7 equivalent) in a related topic or a large clinical experience as a radiological image. You should also have a registration with the Health and Care Council as a diagnostic radiological photographer.

The university requires that the successful applicant who is presented to DBS later requires the nature of the work concerned.

Successful applicants from abroad will be asked to produce a criminal record examination, or a “good personal certificate”, from any country in which they are in succession or cumulative, in the previous ten years.
