West Vancouver Transit calls for requests from drivers who want to look at our qualifying team highly qualifying. Our traditional transport operators are major representatives of the Obour Foundation rich in date dating back to 1912, dedicated to customer, safety and reliability service. Transport operators should be able to accomplish multiple tasks in a complex environment while showing superior communication skills to deal effectively with the public.
While working according to the policies and procedures in force, operators are working closely with departments employees and they must be able to exercise discretionary power and proper judgment. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- It is safe to operate a transit vehicle from our fleet of buses in accordance with the Automobile Law in the British Columbia County and municipal regulations and regulations, as well as policies and procedures as required by the Transport Administration;
- Show courtesy and attention to the comfort and safety of passengers;
- Providing general information and assistance to passengers regarding roads, schedules and prices as required;
- Collecting and monitoring prices, transfers, tickets and traffic; and
- Performing other duties as required
A successful candidate will have: the minimum Class 2 driving license with the support of the air brake; The driver’s summary and the date of the claim that clarifies the history of safe and reliable legal leadership; A truck, truck, or a similar vehicle operating; And the ability to prove effectively with the audience. An acceptable information information for the police with the weak sector and a copy of their credentials is required.

working hours:
40 hours a week, hours vary based on the registration system.
All transformations will start and end on the northern beach.
Wage rate:
$ 29.34 per hour after training, with an increase in the rate every six months for the first two years until the highest rate is reached. The highest rate is: $ 39.12 per hour.
