Georgetown University in Qatar (Gu-S) invites three (3) requests for basic faculty in international politics.

We are looking for comparative policy scholars, American policy, international relations and security studies to join the group of internationally recognized curricula from internationally recognized scientists. These appointments will play a major role in the progress of the task of teaching and research in the Gu-Q.

Qualifications

• Successful candidates will hold a PhD in political science or government or a close field in social sciences.
• We are open to a variety of methodological methods. It is advisable to teach university courses in research methods, data science and/or statistical analysis. We are particularly striving for scientists who have a dynamic and innovative research paths.
• It is especially encouraged to apply in particular to scientists specializing in political behavior, interest groups, campaigns and elections, new curricula for regional security, emerging and strategic technologies, environmental policy, geopolitical for international trade, supply chains, and immigration.
• Scientific experience in China, East Asia, Europe or Latin America is desirable but not necessary.
• Candidates will show excellence in teaching and research, as shown in publications – or the ability to publish in recognized magazines.
