Fox Sports is looking for an independent post -production engineer to join the team in Los Angeles. This position will be filled as a representative of the Nabet 53 Union.

A snapshot of your responsibilities
• System monitoring performance, checking work stations, virtual devices, servers, and major operations
• Environmental management in the public cloud (AWS, GCP)
• Maintaining the storage of San, NAS
• Organizing the management of the work station, photography and training
• Explining and repairing errors in the problems related to devices and programs
• Conducting fixed programs and programs and safety corrections
• Research and implementing new technologies
• Production of standard systems and standard operating procedures
• Helping operators to solve technical or operational issues

What will you need
• Comprehensive knowledge of operating systems
• Knowing excessive environments, including but not limited
• Experience with work progress and programs, including but not limited to: HP Zcentral, Teradici
• Experience in supporting editing and graphics applications including but not limited to: Avid, Premiere, Resolution, Adobe CC, Cinema 4D, Maya, Zbrush
• Experience with the functioning of the frame sequence
• Knowledge in the Directory Management moderate to large size
• Understanding network sharing protocols: NFS, SMB/CIFS
Understanding the sub -network of layer 3, VRFS
• Experience in Linux distributions, including but not limited to: Centos, Ubuntu and Red Hat
• Knowing broadcast specifications
• Prepare to work on a flexible work schedule with late nights and weekends

Pursuant to the requirements of government and local wages detection, the salary/range rate for this role, with the final offer amount depends on education, skills, expertise, and the location ranges between 50.00-53.00 dollars per hour.
