Job description: Under the supervision of the coach director/athletics director/deputy director of athletics, the coach’s assistant in the men’s basketball program will help in operations, administration and training, cultivation of a competitive and successful team in the third section and a group of sports students.

Basic responsibilities/major activities:

– He must be a specialized and enthusiastic coach who can work with all team members to support their development. -It is available for the majority of practices (preferably all) from 2-4: 30 pm and 7-9: 00 am and games in the evening. – Supporting academic success for all sports students and showing a strong commitment to their personal and vocational development. – Helping in planning, managing, evaluating, operating and coordinating all aspects of the men’s basketball program. – Helping in organizing training sessions and training operations on the day of the game. – Help in planning games and scouting our opponents – being very proactive in employing potential students from the highest quality in order to contribute to the success of the program. – Maintaining the appropriate and appropriate discipline between students during sports competitions, training sessions, and during their trips outside the campus. – Evangelizing the team’s collection activities and the events of the graduate participation. Take advantage of the opportunities for professional development for personal and vocational growth, in addition to more success in the men’s basketball program. Attending the campus, conference and regional and national meetings as necessary. – Compliance with the policies established by federal and state laws, New York City University (Cuny), Cuny Athletic and John Jay Criminal Justice College, and the National Sports Association policies and procedures (NCAA Division III). – This position will require night work, weekend, and a potential travel overnight.

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree with gameplay and/or training.
2. CPR / AED certificates should be obtained when employment.
3. Driving license.
4. Customer relationship skills and excellent employees.
5. Strong organizing skills required.
