🚀 Doctorate Researcher – North Atlantic Pulture under Climate Change at the University of Lincoln

The Geography Department is developing its profile in the fields of meteorology and climate science. This includes a new Nerc project for 28 months on “Understanding the drivers and effects of the most changing North Atlantic plane under climate change”, led by Edward Hanna, Professor of Climate Science and Third. The project will include a new assessment of changes in the North Atlantic Ocean in large numbers of recently produced the recently produced global climate model that was produced by major/national projects, using the latest observation -based climate data collections. In addition, we will also use innovative automatic learning tools to assess the relationship between a set of supposed climatic sect conditions, which are called (potential) drivers of jet plane, and changes in jet aircraft. Then we will develop a set of restrictions, based on the relations between the representation of the global climate model for the aircraft aircraft monuments and the changing climate observed, with the aim of developing unique and strong predictions of changes in the North Atlantic Ocean of climate fluctuations.
Jetvar includes a close cooperation with the lucky two participating and partners in reading universities, Sheffield and Newcastle, MET office, Environmental Agency, National Energy System Operator and Trust Wildlife.
Here we have an exciting opportunity for a post -doctorate participant (PDRA) with the experience of statistical analysis and/or modeling, and computer programming, preferably some meteorological/climate background, to join our growing team. It will work directly on the NERC project to help restore the limits of knowledge and understanding in the topical and high region influencing the North Atlantic Movement under climate change. We expect the project to start on December 1, 2025 or as soon as possible after that.
You will recently finish or finish a doctorate or PDRA and have a desire to work in the Geography/Climate Research Department.
