✨ Building a pallet coffee table with a hairpin legs
explained
Turn an old podium into a modern coffee table with a hairpin legs. It is a low -cost fast project that takes about an hour and adds storage and industrial style to any living room.

Supplies:
- Pallet
- opinion
- hammer
- Pry tape (or you can use the back of the hammer)
- holes
- A group of four legs of the 12 or 14 -inch hairpin table (available from many online retailers)
- Clear lacquer
- Brush
Step 1: Clean and change the size of the pallet
Start cleaning the pallet and cut it into your favorite dimensions. If the size is already appropriate for the coffee table, you can skip the cut step.
Step 2: Set the slides
Check the pallet slices. If it is very far from each other, remove the slides from the additional sections and re -put them to close the gaps. Use a hammer and a pry tape to gently remove the slices, and make sure not to break the wood if it is dry.
Step 3: Enhancing the bottom
To prepare to tie the legs, add wooden slices under it – one at each end of the platform. These reinforcements will provide solid anchor points for the hairpin legs.
Step 4: Attach the legs of the hairpin
Place each stem in a pre -drilling angle and holes. Then fasten the legs safely using drilling and nails. Make sure they are all equal.
Step 5: Sealing wood
Apply coats or two pure varnish using the paint brush. Let it dry well. You can choose a smooth surface sand or leave it a bit rough for raw artificial feeling.
