Research technician

Diabetes therapy laboratory, led by Professor Max Crespin, is looking for a research technician to support advanced research in diabetic protein biology and structural glycrobe. This role includes the production, purification, and analysis of the damaged sugary proteins and antibodies, as well as support for highly productive workflow.

A successful candidate will provide artistic experience in the culture of mammal cells, protein production, sample preparation, and glycan analysis. They will play a major role in maintaining smooth laboratory operations, generating high -quality data, and supporting researchers through multiple projects that focus on glycosille in health and disease.

Main responsibilities:

  • Mamluk cell culture and protein production
    Maintaining mammal cell lines to express the protein damaged protein. Perform the processes and improve conditions for the production of small and medium protein.
  • Protecting protein and preparing the sample
    Cleansing proteins damaged using rapprochement and chromatology exclusion. Prepare samples to analyze glycan and diabetic protein, including LC-MS workforce tasks.
  • Golkum support and structural biology
    Helping to develop highly productive Glycomics workflow for the site’s glycosille analysis.
  • Data registration and management Maintaining accurate records of experimental procedures and results. Contribute to managing joint data collections, protein stocks, and Glycomics records.
  • Laboratory support
    Prepare the temporary reagents and stores, keep the shares, and ensure equipment function. Ensuring compliance with health and safety systems and best laboratory practices.
  • Collective work and cooperation
    Work alongside the doctorate, doctoral students, and collaborators to provide the project goals. Providing flexible support through the experimental workflow as needed.

About you

Knowledge, experience and qualifications
You should get a certificate in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related discipline – or an equivalent laboratory experience. Experience with mammal cells culture and expressing protein is necessary. It is expected to relate to protein purification techniques (for example, rapprochement, SEC). It is recommended to be aware of the biology of diabetic protein, or the function of Glycomics, or LC-MS. High accuracy and attention to details in experimental work and memorizing records important.

Collective work and communication
You work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and enhance a supportive environment. Clear communication on priorities, progress and technical issues is necessary. You can build strong business relationships through research groups and technical facilities.

Planning, organization and resource management
You can manage your work burden through multiple experiences and tasks. You support effective workflow tasks and help organize joint laboratory resources. Seeking guidelines from senior colleagues when encouraging planning experiments.

Solve problems and initiative
You can explore and fix errors in routine technical issues using applicable practices. You suggest and implement protocol improvements when necessary. Show the initiative and the ability to adapt to supporting new technologies the key.
