Summary of the job

Assistant Ministry of Volunteers is responsible for assisting, coordinating and coordinating the volunteer department, as well as communicating with other TwC sections and external organizations as needed.   • Responsible for meeting the needs of immediate volunteers personally or via phone and e -mail
  • It helps in volunteering events, other property and work outside the site related to volunteer programs
  • It helps in determining the goals of the volunteer and operating planning department
  • Help in coordinating tasks and time tables for volunteers within the volunteer department
  • It is actively involved in continuing education and TWC’s internal training, and is currently in the field of managing volunteers.
  • Other responsibilities related to the Volunteer Department

Qualifications

Power requirements:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent (post -secondary diploma or a certificate in volunteer management, management, or preferred field) favorite)
  • CVA adoption was considered a balance
  • At least 1 years of experience in an administrative role in a fast -paced environment
  • Experience in overseeing volunteering is one of the assets
  • The experience of coordinating or supporting a large and varied volunteer program is considered a balance
  • Efficiency with CRMS like the best effect is the origin
  • Infinter with the design program (for example, Canva) is one of the assets
  • Experience in the use of project management tools and online training platforms is one of the assets
  • A reliable vehicle is required, where it is required to travel from time to time to our eastern site and the custody sites

  • A passion for the Toronto Wildlife Center with a real worry for wildlife/environmental issues and sensitive needs to work with wild patients

Physical requirements:

  • Required to walk on the concrete floors in the building and the uneven ground in the open air from time to time

Work conditions

  • Office environment/fast -paced hospital, with equipment noise and frequent interruption
  • This position requires work near the materials and animals that may lead to allergic reactions
  • Open office environment, with equipment noise and frequent interruption
  • Hours may fluctuate depending on job requirements (evening work and weekend may be needed)
