An exciting opportunity to work on the project of narration and cultural values ​​that AHRC is funded with Professor Amina Yaqin at the University of Exter and Professor Peter Mori at the university From Birmingham. This project explores how clarical frameworks and beliefs affect how South Asian Muslims in West Midlands and classify accounts in education and health. Focusing on collecting data from the selected settings focuses our analysis on the common words and phrases used in determining the most successful narrative aspects in encouraging sympathy to think about how to get to know the narrative elements of the aspects of faith and culture of support values. The results we have reached will develop effective and culturally effective communication patterns in the main areas of health and education, thus addressing inequality and enhancing professional practices and results in the future.

The post will include:

  • Copy and coding using NVIVO
  • Data analysis
  • Liberation and publishing experience
  • Work as part of a team with the University of Birmingham B and PDRA
  • Communicate with partners without He
  • Organizing publishing events and conferences
  • Writing research for publication as reports and magazine articles
  • Participate in developing new models and methods in the form of educational and healthy tools groups

  • Evidence of the effects of influence

  • Regular reports of the participating and PI project with progress updates

About you

you will:

  • Owning the relevant doctorate (or close to completion) in the field of relevant study and is able to show adequate knowledge of discipline and research methods and techniques to work within the research programs in force
  • Be able to provide information about the progress of research and results, and to communicate complex information, by mouth, in writing and electronically and prepare proposals and applications to external bodies
