The Institutional Research Office supports the data -fly decisions to help Maria College to fulfill its mission, which is a reliable accurate data source of external reports. Research analyst will submit a report to the Assistant Vice President for Corporate Research. This position is full. Compensation is suitable for experience.

Maria College was founded in Albani in 1958 by religious sisters in Mercy, a private and joint Catholic College that serves nearly 800 students in a variety of certificates and certificates programs. The college has built a regional reputation for excellence in health professions, including nursing and occupational therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Extracting, cleaning, converting and managing data.
  • Prepare, analyze, interpret and present data to various fans using tables, plans and narrative reports.
  • External reporting (for example, iPes, NYSED, Cicu, Common Data set)
  • Internal reports including repeated reports and response to data requests to support decision -making.
  • Provide data as needed to support accreditation (for example, ACEN, ACOTE)
  • Help in developing survey and publishing and publishing results for stakeholders.
  • Cooperative work with individuals from all over the college.
  • Participate in the committees as needed.
  • Other duties are appointed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences quantitative or relevant discipline, master’s favorite.
  • Experience ranges from one to three years in work in research or an analytical environment, preferably in higher education.
  • Attention to details.
  • Strong communication and personal skills.
  • The ability to multiply tasks, manage the final appointments, and solve problems.
  • The ability to develop the context of data requests and communicate the results in a meaningful way.
  • Experience with data processing and analysis.
  • Experience with statistical analysis program (Redly preferred).
  • The ability to develop the context of data requests and communicate the results in a meaningful way.
  • The ability to communicate technical information to a non -technical audience.
  • Experience with SQL and relationship databases are plus.
