The ACT Education Directorate is looking for comprehensive and qualified teachers for primary and secondary roles through a group of local and specialized schools.
Whether you are a modern graduate or an experienced teacher, we want you to help us form comprehensive education in Canberra.

our 4 specialized schools Providing educational settings for students with moderate, severe or deep mental disabilities: Crangley (Kindergarten to the year 6) and Montenegro School (Years 7-12) On the northern side of Canberra and Malikara (Pre -School for Year 6) and Woodin School (Years 7-12) on the southern side.
We welcome all students with disabilities and various learning needs to attend their local school, as they will be supported by reasonable modifications.
ACT Public Schools has access to allied health service in the Education Directorate, school psychology service and evidence -based occupational learning.

About the role:
As a comprehensive teacher and diversity in a public school, will:
- Development and implementation of individual education programs and individual learning plans (ILPS) designed to meet the unique needs and goals of students.
- Providing explicit education and support for students with various abilities, and ensuring a comprehensive educational environment.
- Cooperation with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, support employees and families, to improve students ’results.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, and amend teaching strategies as necessary.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay at the time with best practices in disability and integration.
What we are looking for:
- Qualifications and experience: The qualification of teaching higher education, with specialization in the education of deficit or equivalent experience and/or explained in supporting students with various educational needs, mental disabilities and learning difficulties.
- Passion of care: Poourist and the patient and adaptive, driven by a real passion for enabling each student to prosper and succeed in a supportive and comprehensive environment.
- commitmentThe ability to build positive relationships with students, employees and society, and to adhere to the care of students.
Civil requirements:
To advance, you must have:
- Full -time high -time teaching qualification.
- Teacher Institute Law, Teacher Institute (or eligibility for progress).
- A valid law works with the registration of vulnerable (or eligible people).
- Australian nationality, permanent residence, or a valid work visa.
