We invite requests either a lecturer or a great lecturer in photography to contribute to the practice -based units in our photography program. This is a fixed term (12 months), part -time at 0.5 FTE.

The successful applicant will have a PhD in photography or related fields, and/or has a vocational experience. A successful candidate will have experience in the university level, as well as a network of industry communications and related professional experience as a professional photographer.

The photography degree course was created with an enlightened understanding of the place where the photography is located today and how it develops in the twenty -first century and a balance between the academic study with the practice of photography. Teaching focuses on photography as a profession and a visual language suitable for creative industries. It aims to develop the creative practice of students, independent sound and personal identity as a photographer in a professional context.

The successful candidate will be a confident and inspiring teacher, with the ability and desire to contribute to the management of a university program, including taking administrative and leadership roles.

It will join a rich and varied research culture, and active lecturers in the field of research will contribute to the Art School Research Center, CORA (Arts Research Center), as well as collections and other networks including the photography collection and CIRIN (Research and Innovation of Creative Industries Network).
