About the role

We have a great opportunity for an emotional teacher – hairdressing and shaving to join our hair department here at Leeds City College.

As a member of the poetry team, you will provide an inspiring educational experience for students and poetry students who repeat industry standards. You will be a supportive member of the team and suspend future initiatives that will enhance our students’ journey. You will be passionate about providing learning opportunities for all of them to support students in developing skills and knowledge in the industry.

What will you do?

• Plans, preparation and development of work plans, session plans, teaching and learning resources, learning and evaluation plans.
• Delivery and evaluation of the basic knowledge and understanding of learners.
• Create individual smart learning goals associated with the learner’s program/course.
• Be responsible for registering the student’s progress
• Preserving knowledge and updating the topic and/or professional field
• Maintaining knowledge and updating educational research to develop evidence -based practice
• Motivating and inspiring students to achieve goals and develop their skills to enable progress.
• Adapting the methods of delivering the curricula to increase its effectiveness, including through technology use.

About you

• It carries a qualification for teaching L5 (for example Cert ED, PGCE) or ready to work for it.
• Related, qualified professional or degree in teaching a topic.
• Knowledge related to the subject and the last delivery in the education sector or additional schools.
• The experience of setting smart goals to ensure the progress of learners.
• Knowing the current educational practices and the experience of using a set of teaching practices to enhance the learning journey and the development of the learner.
• The ability to inspire and motivate learners to achieve optimal.
