PhD training partnership provides opportunities for the PhDs funded by ESRC at Anglican University, Bedfordshire University and Cambridge University, starting in October 2026.

CAM (CAM-DTP) is an ESRC union between the University of Angela Roskin, Bedfordshire University and the University of Cambridge.

Our collective environment for research and excellent influence is an ideal supplement to multidisciplinary training for diverse sociologists. PHD Cam-DTP students will join a regional change center that addresses the main societal challenges; To achieve this task, we are keen to attract talented doctorate researchers from a wide range of backgrounds. We in particular encourage potential applicants from low social and economic backgrounds or educational defect.

About intensity

ESRC students supported by CAM-DTP 3.5-4.5 years of full-time study. We especially encourage applications from students who want to study on a part -time basis (50 % minimal full -time).

The course is available:

• The tuition fees reach the value of the national average of Ukrai for home students; We welcome international students to apply, but they will need additional scholarships, from alternative sources, to finance the remaining fees and any costs of migration;
• An annual salary exempt from taxes at the rate of Ukraine (20780 pounds in 2025-26 for students full time), and contributing to the costs of research and training;
• A dedicated training program, to develop research, communication, employment and personal skills;
• Support for a three -month required position, known as the innovation fellowship, with an academic or non -academic partner during the period of the kit.

Successful candidates will be asked to submit a PhD during the prize period.

The perfumes will start in October 2026 for each of the full -time applicants and part -time.

CAM-DTP offers two ways to study

Road 1: The topics led by the supervisor

The first is among one of our announced topics. We have more than 40 varied topics in the five eSRC research priorities (behavior, digital community, environment, health care/social, security/risk), from excessive consumption to herbal land management in urban green spaces, adolescence conspiracy to artificial intelligence and free access, and many others.

If you are interested in one of these topics, please contact the supervision team directly to learn more and discuss the project proposal before submitting an application to the main university. You should clearly indicate your application, which project or projects you care about.

If an admission offer is made, it may then be offered to fund CAM-DTP. Acceptance of the study does not guarantee funding; We announce a set of topics to encourage gifted sociologists in our union, and to provide ESRC financing for at least 32 students every year.

Road 2: A student leads him

The second way is by nominating departments. You will need to apply for a PhD at your favorite CAM-DTP University and indicate that you want to consider ESRC financing. If an admission offer is made, you will decide your administration if you will nominate for you CAM-DTP financing.

Please note that there is no direct application on the Cam-DTP in any of the two tracks; You should follow the standard application process for your favorite university.
